pulsing
a hive of hearts
humming loudly
to match my hands as they
swarm in an embrace
that’s soft like the honey from
hands hugging back
pheromones spread out
like bees in search of nectar, so sweet
it warms the middle
 
This piece was inspired by the ‘love chemical’ or scientifically, Oxytocin - microscopically illustrated within the center of this drawing. A euphoria, chemically charged. I was initially going to release this as a Valentine's Day print but in truth, we all need love, at all times. Maybe as a reminder to yourself with a gift or for a friend who needs to hear it, visually.
