Intuitive indents No. 1 is the first of an ongoing printmaking series that will be created following my intuition, by tuning and tapping into my individual frequency.

Backstory
I was working on a drawing a while back and was overcome by this wave of nostalgia. I had the sudden urge to fallback to my educational roots, or so to speak, that foundation being printmaking.
 
I craved to carve.
 
However since my post grad, my style and overall process has shifted and I wondered if my approach now would translate into the medium of my first love, printmaking.
 
I have to admit, this was a challenge in letting it be after each mark was made. The beautiful thing about printmaking is that there is no going back. No erasing. It was hard to welcome each mistake, but after a while of letting the flow take me, I soon forgot that they were mistakes, but marks with intention.
